The seedless grape we call sultana is the most suitable grape variety for drying. It is sorted according to the yellow color tone. By this way the darker one is classified as number 7 and the yellowest one is classified as number 11. About 80% of the production is exported. Black raisins with seeds are being grown in Gaziantep region. Both types of raisins are rich in calcium and iron.
